D. Allan Jamieson, ALS, CLS, Chief Executive Officer
Al received his commission as an Alberta Land Surveyor in 1982, and as a Canada Land Surveyor in 1993. Prior to the merger of Raymac Surveys Ltd. with Global Surveys, Al was responsible for client liaison, coordinating and overseeing all resource industry related surveys, as well as corporate issues. Al is presently the CEO of Global Raymac Surveys Inc, fulfilling the corporate responsibilities of the company. Al is also very active in the Alberta Land Surveyors Association as a committee volunteer.
Jason Thistle, ALS, P.Eng, Vice President, Operations
With the creation of Global Raymac Surveys Inc., Jason was appointed to the position of Vice President of Operations. Jason received his BSc. Eng. from the University of New Brunswick in 1997, and subsequently his ALS and P.Eng designations in 2003. The experience he has gained from managing oilfield projects with Global Oilfield Surveys are a great asset to Global Raymac's clients and staff.
Jim Stuart, ALS, CLS, P.Eng, Vice President, Business Development
Jim received his BSc.Eng. from the University of Saskatchewan in 1974 his ALS in 1980 and his CLS in 1995. In 1980 Jim started SESL Geomatics, a survey company specializing in providing survey services to the Oil and Gas Industry. SESL grew to a size in excess of 100 employees before it was sold to a multi-national survey company in 1998. Jim remained as the Managing Director of the new company Fugro/SESL Geomatics until 2004 when he joined the Global Surveys. Jim's extensive experience is an asset to Global Raymac in his role as Vice President of Business Development.
David Mazurkewich, ALS, Project Manager
Dave received his commission as an Alberta Land Surveyor in 2010. He currently serves as project manager for the Oil and Gas department within Global Raymac Surveys. David obtained a diploma in Survey Engineering Technology from the Saskatchewan Institute of Applied Science and Technology in 1993. In 1994 he joined Raymac Surveys Ltd. and has held various roles including party chief, field supervisor, plan checker and project manager.
Luke Dixon, ALS, Project Manager
Luke received his BSc. Eng. from the University of Calgary in 2004 and his commission as an Alberta Land Surveyor in 2009. He is also registered as an EIT with the APEGGA. After graduation Luke gained three years experience in the field as a crew chief, before moving to a project management role in 2007. Luke has extensive experience in both the exploration and commercial aspects of oilsands development.
Randy Smith, A.L.S. Project Manager
Randy current holds the position of Project Coordinator in the Oil and Gas department within Global Raymac Surveys. Randy received his diploma in Geomatics Engineering Technology from SAIT in 2002. He then joined the City of Calgary working as a Crew Chief in municipal/engineering surveys. In 2005, Randy began work as a Crew Chief in Oilfield surveys with Raymac Surveys. He received his commission as an Alberta Land Surveyor in May 2010. Randy also currently serves as a member of the SAIT GNT Advisory Board.
Darren Hatt, CST Project Manager
Darren Hatt graduated as a Survey Technologist from the College of Geographic Sciences in 1993. Darren moved to Alberta in 1994 and started surveying in the Oil and Gas industry. He spent 6 years working as a crew chief and moved to an office role in 2000. Since then, Darren has been working as a project manager. Darren is a member of the Alberta Society of Survey and Mapping Technologies as well as an Associate Member of the Alberta Land Surveyors Association.
Jim Kleiner, CADD Supervisor
Jim Kleiner graduated from the Engineering Design & Drafting Technology Program at S.A.I.T. in 1994. Since then he has 10+ years experience in production drafting, mapping & GIS within the Oil and Gas industry. Jim currently coordinates the drafting within the Oil and Gas Department.
Jim Crayford, CADD Supervisor
Jim Crayford graduated from the Civil Engineering program in Lethbridge Community College in 1988 and spent the first portion of his career in the field surveying. In 1998, Jim transitioned to an office position in the CAD department. Jim's role has expanded to include supervision of complex mapping and terrain modelling plan production as well as AutoCAD development.
